Awe, thank you so much Holly. We have a good God. He’s hanging onto us. I really love that verse about not being consumed. Some times I get lost in that doubt and defeat and I can feel like I will be consumed. I need to pin that verse somewhere as a reminder. You are loved too. ❤

Yes, hope has sort of become a running theme on my blog. It’s so needed! May the Lord fill us overflowing with hope. ❤

I had a dream that everyone I knew was gathered around and telling me to prepare to give a reason for the hope I didn’t have. Then the dream switched to all these women putting on thick caked on makeup. I woke up with a really heavy feeling. It got me thinking about that verse “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope you have.” I just looked it up and found that it’s from 1 Peter 3 which also happens to talk about true beauty. The part I need to remember is “do what is right and do not give way to fear”. I consider this post one of His mercies that are new every morning. Thanks. I commented on your “apple tree post” yesterday as mercyofthechosen. It inspired me to start this new blog to help me stay hopeful and gathering up the new mercies and even remembering past ones.. Thanks for that.

Thanks, Melanie. Yes, I remember your comment. It’s funny you mentioned true beauty. I have a piece called “True Beauty Tips” in draft form. It’s not your typical beauty post though. I can’t do typical. It’s not me. So maybe that’s my que to take a look at that draft. I’m so glad that you were inspired to start a new blog. Starting a fresh blog can be a really good thing. It has been for me. Sending up some prayers for you now… and wishing you God’s peace as you stay hopeful and gather those new mercies.
