Guard Your Heart

Don’t keep looking at the darkest skies

They’ll only swallow you up in lies 

Don’t forget there’s a silver lining 

Behind those greys is something worth finding.

Don’t keep buying what you cannot feel

You may not see it

That doesn’t make it real

Don’t forget that the sun still shines 

We’re not alone 

But this might take time.

Don’t you worry what tomorrow brings

Just keep on living 

I know we’ll find our wings

And if you get lost 

Let love see you through

It may be raining but the sky’s still blue 

Remember hope when the chance seems slim

There’s more to life than this rain and wind

So don’t let fear steal the light of day 

We’re not alone 

We’ve got to have some faith.
