Committing Our Way to God

This is beautiful! I like the thought of adjusting our sails. That is such a profound statement, yet it also makes our next step seem so simple. When we lose focus or go down the wrong path, we can adjust our sails! I also love the verse that says that God cares for us. That is so comforting. We often don’t think of God that way. The word “cares” really helps put our relationship with Him into perspective. ❤️

Thanks Bridget. Yes, and sometimes the wind changes directions. If we don’t compensate for that change in the wind we can get stuck going the wrong direction, so adjusting our sails is definitely required at times. I agree, we don’t often think of God as caring. It’s easy to lose sight of that when we’re a bit lost at sea. Some may become resentful and hardened towards Him, but God is good no matter the circumstances. He does care, and He does fight for us. ❤
