Where to get started
When you’re feeling half hearted
And you’ve felt this way for far too long
You’ve become lost in the dust of the bustle and rush
Carrying burdens and battles too heavy and hushed.
There’s no time to delay.
It’s time to unpack
Unburden the load that weighs heavy on your back
There’s a quiet place where you can meet face to face
Where you’ll feel His presence and are comforted by grace.
Here the work can get started
There is peace in God’s garden
Where He tends and waters, and prunes the dead growth.
New shoots will appear as He draws us near
Blessed by blue skies and His watchful eyes as the clouds are cleared.

Draw Near to God and He will draw near to You
So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him make himself scarce. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.
James 4:8-10 (The Message)
We cannot serve two masters. However, one is a thief and the other is our peace.
I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places – firm muscles, strong bones. You’ll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry.
You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again.

Love the fresh reset God gives us when we submit and turn to Him. He offers us peace and comfort through His garden of goodness.
