Depending on how much time I have, or I’m willing to devote to a jigsaw puzzle, I may choose something challenging or one I deem far easier. The day I chose this one, I chose poorly. 🤔 It was far more time consuming than I’d planned for.

After I put the edge pieces together, I began working on the first section of choice (the tea cup itself). I discovered that fitting the pieces together wasn’t so straightforward. It required a great deal of time gazing at both the pieces and the picture provided.

I’m glad that our times are in God’s hands, since life can throw us so many puzzles.
What this means is that we have great assurance that wherever we find ourselves in life, we, as God’s beloved children, are safe and secure in His hands. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nothing. This means that Jesus:
- never leaves nor forsakes us
- finishes what He starts
- will do what He says he will do
- will supply our needs according to his riches
- will help, strengthen and restore us
- can give us peace, we don’t have to be overwhelmed
- will provide a way to endure temptation
- will give us vindication
- will have compassion towards us
- will counsel, teach and instruct us
- will give us a new heart (mind, attitude, spirit…)
- will give us an abundant life
- will give us eternal life
And as one of my favourite comforting songs goes, He is not far. We may feel far from complete, and life can be challenging, complicated or seem impossible… but God hasn’t missed a piece and isn’t stumped. Jesus finished what he came to complete, on the cross. This means that He’s qualified and fully capable of completing our own individual stories as well.

Fix Your Eyes on the Fixer of our Faith
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” –Hebrews 12:2
Amen 🙏🏽. What a comforting reminder this is. His bless you Tina.

It is so comforting to know that God is omniscient and knows how to and has the power to fit the pieces of our lives together.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and they that had obtained the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stood on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Revelation 15:2,3

Blessings Tina. I appreciate your testament, and the use of a puzzle fits into my own faith journey. Without God’s grace, I will always fall short of having patience to fill in another peace from Christ.
