I wonderโฆ.
Does the caterpillar labor to turn over a new leaf?
Does the challenge seem insurmountable as she approaches the peak?
Such a small figure
With such a big feat
What a lot to chew on
She still has much soul food to eat.
Does she work herself into a tizzy?
Falling flat, becoming dizzy?
When it’s time for another colossal change?
Spinning threads, filled with dread, as her second womb is arranged?
Does the isolation make her insane?
Or is there warmth in being embalmed that makes her feel safe?
I wonder if she realises she’s becoming something new?
She’s been born again, bidding everything she knew adieu
Her wings prepared to flutter from bloom to beauteus bloom
Does she pensively wrestle with this path prepared anew?
And when she finally spreads her wings is there a peace unlike before?
No longer bound to the ground, silently crawling the forest floor
When she rises, has her strength been miraculously revived?
Is endurance a close companion?
Upon her wings, will praise abide?

Born Again to Turn Over a New Leaf ๐
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2 ESV
The transformation of caterpillar is such a fascinating allegorical example to us of God’s power and design. ๐๐

Caterpillar to butterfly. Always a renewed hope when I consider the beautiful transformation and analogy.
