Plan B

Have you ever reviewed what you were going to post and decided it’s not worth posting? Maybe It’s just not ready for posting yet. Next I looked at my drafts and nothing felt right. It’s probably this funk I’m in. So plan B. Poetry on the fly!

S Car Go

I’m a coat that’s seen much wear

A stormy sky that doesn’t care

An engine that has seized

I’m lost and I’ve dropped my keys.

I’m a shoe that has no sole

A seed that just won’t grow

My battery won’t hold a charge

I’m out of gas and I have no car.

I might be a bit melancholy…

Rice

It isn’t just for weddings, you know

You can eat it too

Do people really enjoy having rice thrown at them?

There was no rice at our wedding

If you say rice too often it starts to sound strange.

Rice

Rice

Rice.

Melon Caulie

First you’ll need your melon baller

Make sure you’re melons are ripe!

Next, add two quarts of milk

Dice your cauliflower

Add 2 tablespoons of salt

And a dash of nutmeg

I’m not sure what you’ll get

But it sounds dicey.

Lol… okay this one made me laugh.

Gallantry

Bet you never thought I’d write a poem about gallantry

Neither did I

This is poetry on the fly!

Cha cha cha.

Jazz hands.
