Type Cast

I’m not an entertainer

For me there’s little appeal

I’d rather not to be type cast

I prefer to keep it real. 

Sometimes I like to contemplate 

And drink in something deep

There are times I have a lot to say

Other times I barely speak.

I can surely be filled with excitement 

But at times I may get down

There’s a side of me that’s quirky

But I’ve never been a clown. 

I just hate to see people hurting

Therefore, I want my friends to smile

I’d try to bend over backwards

If that would hold you for a while. 

But I’m not an entertainer 

It’s never been my gig

For a friend

However

I’d give a little more

If it helps their heart to sing.

I’ve debated sharing these videos for a while now. I’m in a mood today, and feeling really self conscious, but I’ve decided to just hold my breath and hit publish. Listening to my feelings is stupid. What’s the worst that could happen, right?

I made both of these videos (about 12 years ago) to make a friend smile. I’m really not an entertainer, so please don’t cry, encore! 😆 I do hope they make you smile too. ❤ The volume on the top one is lower than the bottom one so you may want to turn your volume down for the second video or it’s a bit jolting.

A young friend of mine was teaching himself how to play the keyboard, so I incorporated his music as the soundtrack. I think it worked quite well. It’s a bit quirky, as am I.

    1. Lol… Thanks Ali! I wish I had never put “to be continued” on the end. I tried to to do a continuation on one of my blogging breaks, but it never worked out. Some plans fail… lol. Maybe one day I will make the Plan part 2. It’ll bug me so much if I just leave that “to be continued” hanging like that. It’s like a broken promise! 😮
