Little things can become big things and big things can become little things. It’s all a matter of perspective, right? Where is your heart? What means the most to you? For the Christian Faith Comes First.

We can look at the little picture and we can look at the bigger picture. I want to look at both with the right perspective. I want to dream about good things happening in my life here and now, but I don’t want to lose sight of the bigger picture.

Scripture says that where our treasure is there will be our heart also. We are to store up our treasures in heaven where nothing can destroy them. For the believer, heaven is our guarantee–the better country we’re longing for and the city that God has prepared for us. This earth shall pass away and so shall it’s ways.

Losses are inevitable here on earth, but heaven is the promise that all sorrows will cease. There will be no more death, no more pain and no more tears. Eternal peace with our Prince of Peace is the guarantee for those who allow Christ to rule in their hearts.

This doesn’t mean that I’ll stop dreaming about my life here on earth. A really special friend has convinced me not to give up on dreams. So as I store up my treasures in heaven–that is, as I continue to seek the kingdom of God (The bigger picture.) I will also hold on to the little picture. Let’s press on with hope and DREAM again. ❤

The Little Picture (Earthly Help)
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. ❤
Psalm 27:13-14
“By which he means, not only a continuance of the mercy and grace of God to his soul which he already possessed, and which supported him under his trials, but that he should outlive his troubles, and see or enjoy in this life that deliverance from them, and from all his enemies, implied in the promise of the kingdom which God had given him.”
Benson Commentary
The Bigger Picture (Heavenly Hope)
“God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.” ❤
Revelation 21:4
I so love this post. Your special friend is clearly very wise to say that. I so love your words under the Canadian flag. I’m going to do one for me, with those words but for Yorkshire. A special place does await us but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream about our current world and life. Thank you for making me smile. 🙏❤️

I have no idea. It happens sometimes. Usually I go back to sleeping fine again, but this time my body seems to be in a routine thinking that 4AM is the right time to wake up. Oh, there’s a song about that? Is there a song that tells your body to stay asleep? 😄

Maybe you are right too, that to wake up at 4AM is the right time… As most of the successful people applies this chronology behind their success, you are on right path Ma’am…😁😁
Now if you woke up early then take high notes from it, and restart your body after the sleep!!
“In the middle of the night”, u used these words so it’s reminds me song of Bebe rexha and Martin Garrix, “In the Name of Love”😅😅

Are you teasing me!? 😁😁 I don’t think I’m right to wake at 4AM. I think my brain is misbehaving.
I do try to restart my body for sleep. Once in a while it listens to me. Other times it puts it’s hands over it’s ears. Most of the time. 😂😂
Oh I don’t know that song. I like the song by Bebe Rexa called “Can’t stop the girl” though. I think my brain thinks that now so it won’t stay asleep. 😀 Can’t stop it!

It is always good to maintain perspective in life, to realize what is really important. Many people get so caught up on material things they miss the beauty and hope of Jesus’ love and forget to take time to listen for God’s direction. Lovely photos, Tina!

Really liked what you shared about not losing sight on the smaller picture while maintaining our eyes in the bigger picture. That is the best perspective to have.
