The Girl With The Big Stick

Another day without rest

Fighting with feelings

Feeling trapped and deflated

But knowing God’s timing is best.

Another day she is blessed

Drawn by a notion

She’s caught in emotions

But knowing she’ll fly from her nest.

Given time and great patience

Steadfastness and raisins (What? They couldn’t hurt)

For God is both gracious and kinder than Satan (Way kinder.)

Okay, this poem is off the rails now….

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

I may, or may not, be back to blogging in September. I would really really love to write for and about God. Stay tuned for more info when I know where this path is leading me.

Signed, The Girl With The Big Stick.

Don’t ask… It cheers me up. Just enjoy.

P.S. I’ve been reading some of your blog posts while on my break. Thanks for the encouragement and keep up the great work!

      1. Yes, we are fine but one of our good neighbors strong, stout and healthy man of my age died of Covid. So remember us in prayers. Thank you very much. God bless.
