It’s a world full of wonder
It’s a world full of grief
And if I listen too long it’s a rotten thief.
It’ll steal your joy
It’ll take your peace
So my sights must be set on my Prince of Peace.
Lord, teach me to thrive
And keep me safe
Help me to learn
To taste and see.
When the love has grown cold
May my heart be a fire
Warm and fixed on my Lord’s desire.
So search my heart
Purify my soul
May they find that my God is my greatest goal.
