I won’t chase mirages

My soul’s too thirsty for the truth

Set my heart to flame

Till I’m wholly consumed

And if the earth should shake

I’ll be standing through and through

I won’t settle for tarnished trinkets

I’ve found my treasure trove in You.

Where Your Treasure is…

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Fix your Affections on Heaven

Having the affections there – having the eye of faith single, steady, unwavering – all the conduct will be correspondent.”

  3. Awesome… you grabbed me right away… “I won’t chase mirages, I am too thirsty for the truth”…Yes Yes Yes…that’s a declaration, a t-shirt seller…a billboard car crashing episode…lol
    Seriously, I love it!
    Let’s not settle…turn our affections on heaven…
    Tina my spirit is shouting and rejoicing… Time is of the essence…I won’t chase mirages, I am too thirsty for the truth…You lovely lady are significant and appreciated!
