Spring Break

Clearly I’m not on the ball with blogging. Scheduling isn’t working well and I’m struggling to read and comment on posts.

Today’s planned post will be delivered, apparently, at 7:30PM (Pacific Time) instead of 7:30AM. You’ll be getting two posts today.

That settles it. I need a full stop from blogging. I guess I’ll get on with Spring cleaning, driving lessons and trying to listen for the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I’m absolutely oblivious as to when I will resume blogging again.

Stay amazing and keep sharing your wonderful posts (unless you need a break as well.) I just might pop in from time to time to read and comment. A big thank you to my friends and followers for joining me on this journey of faith. You’re fellowship is always a treasure to me.

God Bless. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Cherry Blossoms

Cultivated pom-poms

Pretty in pink

There for a moment

But gone in a blink.

Then fruit will form slowly

As perfectly planned

By the God of Creation

And willed by His hand.

Till it’s Clear that Spring has Sprung

In the spring

  There’s a spring

    In my step

      Once again.

When the world bursts with life

Dead revived

Bud and stem.

In the spring

  Comes the song

    As the Lark

      Builds her nest.

Nature thrives

Blooms arrive

No more still nether rest.

In the Spring

  Rain brings life

    Evermore

      Yet to come.

Hatchlings born

Trees adorned

Till it’s clear, spring has sprung.

  1. Hello my friend! About scheduling the post for PM instead of AM – I did the same thing earlier this year. Lol. And about taking a break – I can’t say I blame you. I recently took a break myself and it was refreshing. But you will most definitely be missed. I will be praying for you, my friend! 🤗♥️

  3. I have done the AM and PM mix up too Tina. About a break, I have inadvertently ended up taking a break from posting for the last couple of weeks and I can understand your need to do so. I will miss reading your posts, praying that you have a restful break from blogging and come back refreshed and brimming with inspiration to write.

  4. Hope your break will bring refreshing to you and that you accomplish everything you hope to accomplish. I have taken a break for a couple of years now, and I don’t seem to be able to get back to blogging.

We have had several promises of spring only to have very cold temperatures dropped on us again. I got up on Easter Sunday and looked out to a sprinkling of snow, but on Monday we had an all-day snow storm. The snow didn’t last long and today, though it was still only 8’C, it was sunny the whole day. I understand it is supposed to keep getting warmer until it’s in the 20s by the weekend, so hoping this time spring is for real and here for the duration. Happy spring cleaning. 🙂

    1. Oh wow… not the most pleasant weather, especially when you’re awaiting the promise of Spring. Yes, I hope Spring is there for real this time and here too. I’m looking forward to some sunshine and warmth. Thanks for the visit to my blog Diane and you kind wishes. 🙂

    1. Thank you for your comment. A break has been on my mind and heart. Yes, there is always the possibility that God wants to move me in a totally different direction, or that blogging could become more of an occasional thing. But a break definitely feels in order.

  5. Your posts are such a blessing to read and reflect on but i understand the need for a spring break refreshment. Do so without guilt. Oh I need to remember that for myself!😅
I’ve been reading blogs but no writing (from me) lately, bothers me but it’s necessary for now.

Enjoy your rest in the Lord no matter what!!❤️ love you friend!

    1. Thanks so much Ali. Yes, without guilt. It’s easy for us ladies to feel like we should be doing more. It makes rest difficult. But sometimes we really do need to take that time away to refresh.

  6. When I read you need a full stop from blogging, I selfishly thought- oh no I will miss my sweet daughter. But then grace took over to wish you a restful break. Just please don’t stay away too long.
