More Enjoy-Mint

The more the merrier, right? I’ll raise a tea cup to that. 🍵

These last couple of weeks have worn me out. It’s time for a tea break. As I kick off my shoes, let me also kick off another ‘T tastes Tea Challenge’.

My InfiniTEA War continues—not because I need a new mint tea per se— rather, I enjoy the challenge of coming up with a new perspective on the same theme.

As I sat down to tea, I noticed that I royally messed up this tasting; I used a big teapot and a small teapot. Could the condensed volume of my reigning champion’s pot give her the upper cup? It could. 🤔

King David was a man of condensed size in comparison to Goliath, yet he took that bad boy down. Might condensation have had something to do with it?

No, no, it only sounds confusing and loopy. Hear me out.

Condensation may not be the going scientific term for an individual condensed in size (who can pack a powerful blow), but it should be.

So is my beautiful
‘minier me’ Alicia of For His Purpose

David, though he was but a twig of a man in comparison to the monster Goliath, had been planted right where God wanted him. 🌳

Furthermore, we know that God had everything to do with the outcome of that battle. David’s bravery could have very well been seen as simply macho confidence.

Or matcha confidence if he’d started the day with a fine pot of the brew. 🍵

However, David’s faith wasn’t in the power of tea; It was in his God. His motivation, nevertheless, may have been a bit more personal, that is, it may have been motivated by personal ambition. (For the full story read further —HERE

As for my own oversight whilst setting up my challenge, I wasn’t about to waste this lovely arrangement. Thus, a photo opportunity ensued and I sat to drink both pots of tea.

Clearly an Empire built this box of Mint Green Tea

“A blend of the finest quality green teas enhanced with mint leaves for a refreshing experience. A popular beverage after meals.”

I do like the organized contents of this box. He’s not just another pretty face.

Requiring guidance for an accurate execution, I prayed. Then I searched the box for further instruction.

“For the perfect cup of tea first warm the teapot, and add one teabag per person. Pour on freshly boiled water and allow to brew for 3 – 5 minutes. Stir well and serve.”

Warm The Tea Pot? 🤔

What’s the best way to do this?

Do I fill it with boiled water?

Do I sit it out in the sun?

Shall I toss it in the oven with some hot cross buns?

Maybe a flamethrower would be lots of fun!

Break it up, break it up!!!!!!!!

My Champion was becoming increasingly cosy with the competition. Fraternizing with the enemy!? 🤨🤨🤨🤨

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:43-45

I suppose this won’t disqualify her… this time………………

Due to officiater negligence, however, the matcha has been postponed. Stay tuned for the main event. Will they fight to the death? Or will they become a formidable tag team? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  1. Tina, enjoy your musing over the cups of tea. Like your version of the definition of condensation and the macho to matcha confidence with David.
I was never a fan of mint tea before but have developed a taste for peppermint tea recently. Never though I would be drinking that but I guess we never know 🤷🏻‍♀️

  2. Mint Tea is a wilderness trip favorite of mine…In the late evening around the camp fire, a cup of mint tea. So good.
a good word for that little guy God used so mightily. “Condensation”
Just like a thick little wintergreen leaf, packed full of mint flavor in the wild.

  3. I’m in as much suspense right now (waiting to know the top tea winner) as I’m sure the onlookers were back in the day of David’s battle over Goliath!

Looking forward to the grand finale!

  4. I love your teapots Tina. We recently went stayed in a Spanish hotel where there was no hospitality tray and only served drinks at breakfast! Never have I missed tea so much! Imagine only being able to have one hot drink a day unless you’re prepared to pay €3.50 each time? So, take a travel kettle with you wherever you go. 😉

  5. As David reminds us, it’s what lives in our small hearts that matters the most. As for tea, I am another boring black English drinker (when I take a break from coffee). My question: How does Enterprise Captain Picard endure Old Grey in every episode?
