We’ve set sail
The crew is all here
Our direction is set
But the way seems unclear.
The fog rolls in
Then it lifts to reveal the sun
It’s a mystery what our plight will be
Until each day’s begun.
The waves rise high
Then the seas are still
We’re taking on water
Then our nets are filled.
I’ve yet to believe
That I have sturdy sea legs
My eyes are drawn to the horizon
My heart gets lost in the waves.
Am I sunk?
But you’re still there
A beacon to follow through the salty sea air.
But I’m weak
Maybe it’s scurvy? π€
I should taste and see
That the Lord is still alive in me
We’ve set sail on mysterious waters
But don’t lose heart, a slight breeze can become a gail
With the right captain aboard
We can live in one accord
And the wind can still catch our sails. β΅

He Who Began a Good Work in Usβ¦..
God began a good work in you. And I am sure that he will carry it on until it is completed. That will be on the day Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:5 (NIRV)
God’s ways are Mysterious
Godβs ways are as mysterious as the pathway of the wind and as the manner in which a human spirit is infused into the little body of a baby while it is yet in its motherβs womb.
Ecclesiastes 11:5 (Living Bible)
