The great journey continues!
I can’t believe we’re already almost half way through August! Where does the time go!?
It seems there aren’t enough hours in the day. Or is this simply my current path?
It wasn’t so long ago I felt uncomfortably isolated (not solely because of the isolation we endured during the pandemic, 4 years back) but also, due to feeling so stuck in my own rut and Box. 📦 The days dragged on, and inwardly I wasn’t looking forward with a whole lot of hope. But here I am now; I’m working as an Early Childhood Educator. It’s almost been a year now.
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!Ephesians 3:20-21 (The Message)
Guess who’s set to go back for more college studies to acquire her Infant/ Toddler Specialization Diploma? Working with the littlest of the ‘littles’ has had its share of stresses, but it hasn’t been short on blessings either!
Imagine a smiling 2 year old running to you for a hug when you enter the workplace. These are special moments and relationships. This line of work also comes with special responsibilities.
As of August 31st, I will be starting part-time studies to continue my education as I also continue to “earn a living.” This will mean a very full schedule.
It’s my heart’s desire to keep my blog going. (To continue writing for and about the Lord.) However, I know there will be little time to write or read blog posts. Nevertheless, I’m keen to try posting and reading once or twice a month.
To stay on track with the great journey of faith I will continue my studies in the Good Book– that is, the Holy Bible. I’ll also read from sources that sharpen me in my Christian walk. This is something I plan on scheduling into the days ahead in smaller bites.
Taste of His goodness; see how wonderful the Eternal truly is. Anyone who puts trust in Him will be blessed and comforted. Psalm 34:8 (The Voice)
Perhaps when this 36 week jaunt is complete I will have much more time to write and share. I certainly hope so!
I’ve scheduled my blog posts till the end of August, then I’ll be playing things by ear…. listening for God’s voice.
“…..Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best, fill yourself with only the finest. Pay attention, come close now, listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words….” Isaiah 55:1-5 (The Message)
Until then, allow me to wish you all God’s best for your own journeys. Thank you for befriending me here on WordPress, for visiting, commenting and sharing God’s, and your own, love. ❤️❤️
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16

Hi T, wonderful words as always! I am sometimes still in a box too, I will soon be starting a job I haven’t really done before: janitorial work at my church, while I have done cleaning before, it’s been residential. I’m excited and nervous! Gods got a plan, I look forward to hearing more about your studies and job. Yes, something so very special about a little child coming to you for a hug. May God continue to bless you!

Awe, thank you so much, Tams. I hope you really enjoy your new job. I can so understand the nervousness. I’m always nervous when I start something new until I finally feel safe and comfortable with everyone around me. There definitely is something special about a child’s affection and trust. May God continue to bless you as well. 💕

I am praying for you as you pursue more schooling and balance work. It certainly is a lot to juggle. Hopefully you can work on blog posts “here and there.” But don’t let it stress you out. I’m so glad you have found many blessings with the little people in your life. What a gift. I pray the Lord provides you with peace and strength in the coming weeks and months. And be kind to yourself. 💝

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Revelation 3:8
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
