Gentleness takes patience; It’s aims to be kind; It prays without ceasing; it loses it’s pride; It knows we’re all flesh, so It looks for others best. These things it rejoices in. In God it abides.
Gentleness is thoughtful; It chooses words wisely; it doesn’t rush in with sword raised high; It was taught that the battle has already been won; It knows that our fight isn’t against flesh and blood.
Gentleness is peaceful, it’s submissive before God. It trusts Him completely; it lives in His love. Gentleness is truthful; but it does so with care. It doesn’t retaliate; it gives more than it’s share.
Gentleness takes tempering–testing till true. It doesn’t come easy; it’s the narrow path we choose. But gentleness is honored. She has her rewards. So we keep pressing onwards till that soft answer is learned.

☺ It is. People who haven’t been gentle with me only forced me into my shell, but those who have been gentle have helped me find my voice. It’s getting me to hush that will be the next problem! 😃
