“The world is a treacherous place,” She bemoaned.
“Don’t you walk in the Light?” He reminded her. You have my hand. Just hold on tight.”
“I don’t loath trials, Lord, but I’m scared of tests. “After all,” she confessed, “I’m only flesh!”
“Give ear to my Spirit, and abide in the truth. I promise you, child, that I’ll see you through.”
“Thank you Father for sending your Son. Give me strength and endurance for this race I run. Remind me, Holy Spirit, on this path that wends. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for being my friend.”

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20(ESV)
“The more simply the believer relies on Christ for every thing, the more devotedly does he walk before Him in all his ordinances and commandments. Christ lives and reigns in him, and he lives here on earth by faith in the Son of God, which works by love, causes obedience, and changes into His holy image. Thus he neither abuses the grace of God, nor makes it in vain.

Tina, I agree we have to rely on Christ. Holding tightly to Jesus’ hand with faith has allowed me to get out of my boat of security and to move toward the light.

Yep, He’s good at opening our eyes and ears as we take His hand in faith. He is able to carry us through.
