Stars

You hung the stars.

How could I forget?

In Your hands there is wisdom

There is power in Your breath.

You took such care

As you planned our days

You counted the stars

And called each by name.

We’re never adrift

Your love is eternal

It’s so lovingly written in the skies above.

How great is your mercy?

It stretches the heavens

Why should I fear when I know that I’m loved?

Your stars remind us

You won’t forget

Not one star fails

We’re so greatly blessed.

Consider the Heavens and the One who Created them

“Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.”

1 Corinthians 8:6

“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth.”

Psalm 33:6 (NIV)

“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.”

Isaiah 40:26 (KJV)

“To prove the greatness of God, the prophet appeals to all ages and nations. Those who are ignorant of this, are willingly ignorant. God has the command of all creatures, and of all created things. The prophet directs us to use our reason as well as our senses; to consider who created the hosts of heaven, and to pay our homage to Him. Not one fails to fulfil His will. And let us not forget, that He spake all the promises, and engaged to perform them.”

Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

I need an upbeat song. How about you?

“Got me staring up at the star filled sky.”

    1. It’s very comforting that His love and generosity will always protects us, isn’t it. Thank you for the reminder of His generous heart. We can never ask for too much. He loves to give good gifts to those who ask. You take care too Francis. ☺
