Safe Harbor

Adrift

Out of touch

But not out of sight

My needs are met

Even in the fight.

Worn

Thrown by waves

But not out of hope

When the sea’s rough

You settle my boat.

So I won’t forget

Your faithfulness

You deserve my praise

And nothing less

I won’t cease to thank you

For all that You’ve done

You have my heart

You deserve my love

Though it seems so far

I can see that shore

I’ll be searching

I’m waiting

My ship is moored.

“If 10,000 days is what it takes I’m gonna find You.” ❤

Matthew Parker/Find U

Return, O Lord! How long? Have pity on your servants! Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Psalm 90:13–14 (ESV)

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide your face from me? How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

Psalm 13:1–2 (ESV)

  1. Oh, yes! This is indeed my heart’s cry! So beautifully put, Tina! Lord, help us to remember you keep us through every wave and will indeed bring us to that safe harbor!
