Evening Light

Evening Light

So lovely a night

Warm through and through

Let me bask in this sight.

Can’t I stay outside?

Can’t I capture the moon?

I could sleep under the stars

Till I’m bit by a racoon.

Ah, Canadian poetry. Nothing but the best. Photos!

My weeds! They’ve grown like weeds! They’re looking a little shabby. I had to water them.

No worries… still smiling. Next year I’ll plant potatoes in pots!

“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

Daniel 12:3

“Christ stood for the children of our people in their stead as a sacrifice, bore the curse for them, to bear it from them. He stands for them in pleading for them at the throne of grace. And after the destruction of antichrist, the Lord Jesus shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; and He shall appear for the complete redemption of all His people.”

Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Those who turn many to righteousness, who turn sinners from the errors of their ways, and help to save their souls from death, James 5:20, will share in the glory of those they have helped to heaven, which will add to their own glory.

  1. I never saw that last line coming, absolutely laughing my head off. Canadian poetry is the best as are those Canadian smiles. We don’t get raccoons here. So pleased you watered your weeds. I do that. Here we have potato in the pot competitions. One potato in a pot, then 12 week later weigh the potatoes. I see a England v Canada spud international. I do like that last quote a lot. The quotes you give always make me think about life.
