Stuck
Between reality and a dream
A wounded warrior
Lost within herself again
No direction
Only murky reflections
Of the days still yet to be.
Downcast
Waiting for new days
A child of God
Tries to follow after His ways
Full of questions
Disillusioned by life’s maze
Pressing onwards
Still plodding through the haze.
Weary
She looks upon His face again
His compassion never fails
And His mercy is new each day
She will rise
For there is healing in His Wings
She lifts her shield
When arrows bring their sting.

Jesus: The Creator of Heaven and Earth
“No one can see God, but Jesus Christ is exactly like him. He ranks higher than everything that has been made. Through His power all things were madeβthings in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, all powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ.”
Colossians 1:15-16 (NCV)
Reverence and Faith
βBut for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.”
Malachi 4:2
“Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
Ephesians 6:16
“I look up to the hills, but where will my help really come from? My help will come from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2 (Easy-to-Read Version)

Nice to hear from you again, Tina. Life can find ways of throwing curveballs at me, apparently, but I’m still holding up just fine. Anyways, great job!
